MBK and Home Sweet Home

MBK again...and Home Sweet Home!

As Mommy requested for a late check-out till 3pm, so we have almost half a day to shop. After breakfast, we took a train to Siam Station and walk to Siam Square. As it was still too early, we had a cup of chocolate drink (50 Baht) at Black Canyon Cafe while waiting for the shop to open...

We waited until 10am but still no sign of shop opening, so we decided to walk to MBK again for window shopping.

Since Mommy managed to buy a GB light for my GameBoy yesterday, she is comtempleting to get some game cartridges for me. But as it is not advisable to buy game cartridge overseas in the case when it is faulty there is no way we can get our refund or some sort...Anyway, she got a Power Ranger & Teen Titan game cartridge for me. Thanks, MOM!

We looking for what to eat for our lunch and found this Chinese Restaurant at 1st level near Top's Supermarket. Their Pineapple Rice is at 200 baht and Mommy thinks it is a bit too much to pay so in the end, we settled our lunch at Santa's Burger instead.

At Santa's Burger, we saw many Cacausian tourist had their lunch and I must said they served really crispy chicken tenders and pork cultet. Mommy ordered a plate of Pork Cutlet/Rice without sauce and Si Yee had a fish burger and Jiejie had the same like Mommy. I shared my fries and chicken tenders with Jiejie too!

I found the chicken tender a bit too spicy for me but maybe not to the Thais' children!

Home Sweet Home

Back to our hotel to do our final packing and when we are done we still have an hour before leaving for the airport...so we decided to hang around at the hotel lobby.

Around 3.30pm we flagged a taxi to the airport but the taxi driver was not too happy when he heard Mom asked if he is willing to go on meter.

It was already drizzling when we boarded the taxi and it took us slightly longer to reach the airport due to slow traffic. The alighting point at the departure terminal 1 was floaded with water and all our shoes are socking wet...The taxi meter shown 157 Baht and when asked how much to pay, the driver read out the meter looking glumpy and Mom handed to him 220 Baht. Immediately, he face changed and accept the money with a smile.
